did a bunch of listening...
these rips [old tunes 2 and maxima] are not very good. the stereo field is gone. they sound squashed, almost borderline mono.

i was gonna clean up old 2, but its not worth it.

primary listen was on sony mdr300 [junk] went to grados, rs-1 then ps1000. revealed them as poor rips.

why not have them done pro?

why dont the boc dupe and sell them? i KNOW we'd all buck up.

Stop it with the generalizations already. It was a conscious one-off, not universal attitude towards everything. I'm still as suspicious about lending money to strangers as before, and everything else.
