And Hi Scores will be reissued too! Oh my.

Responding to popular demand, Warp Records is repressing its seminal Boards of Canada catalogue on vinyl for the first time in over five years.

On 21st october the albums Music Has The Right to Children (originally released in 1998), Geogaddi (2002) and The Campfire Headphase (2006) will be reissued. These will be followed on 18th november by the mini-album Twoism (1995) and EPs In A Beautiful Place Out In The Country (2000) and Trans Canada Highway (2006). Also, look out for a vinyl reissue of Hi Scores EP (1996) through Skam later this year.

Each Warp reissue comes with a download code and an original BOC sticker design from the era.

I love the fact that a few people on this forum were 100% sure it's a fake, haha :P

A few cosmetic differences between the represses and the originals, I see. Don't care personally, but people were speculating.

Now watch the prices of those records fall rapidly on ebay/discogs

So happy I held out. Don't have to take out a loan to own them all now.

Notes:

I've been waiting forever to own Geogaddi. I love that buying 4 BoC vinyls reisssued (including Geogaddi) is cheaper than I've ever seen Geogaddi go for by itself on e-Bay.

Intersting thing re: Geogaddi:
Geogaddi wrote:SIX PANEL GATEFOLD SLEEVE DIFFERS FROM ORIGINAL SLEEVE.
I wonder what's changed.

Out of the reissues, all I need are Campfire, Geo, and Twoism to complete my set. I love that if I spring for the bundle (and get MTHRTC, too, even though I already own it) it's only a ten dollar difference, after figuring shipping. I may end up with two copies of it because well damn that's cheap...
