I don't think I have said it out loud in conversation to be honest but I read it in my head as Ee ow in but assume it's Owen. I can't help it. I still Say Moog knowing full well it's mogue.

It's deffos owen haha. My girlfriend's name is irish gaelic. Roisin. Pronounced row sheen.

That's a cool name. our baby daughter arrived a few weeks ago and we toyed with alot of irish gaelic names but worried about people having trouble pronouncing - Niamh (Neev) is another one or Siobhan (She-vorn) - great names though

should move to scotland then, the people are much nicer here plus we would be able to pronounce niamh without blinking!
