EYDIAB, Kid for Today, Left Side Drive, Olson, Wildlife Analysis...those immediately come to mind.
Some others for me are definitely the middle of The Beach at Redpoint with all the ping ponging voices leading into Opening the Mouth.
One in particular, that might not be mentioned is from 1:45 to the end of Transmisiones Ferox. That's up there in my favorite moments from them.

Re: Most calming BoC track?
Opening the Mouth does quite the opposite to me. Indeed, I actually find it frightening. Some tracks that I do consider to be very relaxing are Muhkinabaht (which I once almost fell into a trance-like state with) and most of the tracks on TCH, especially Dayvan Cowboy (which I often use to fall asleep to).Rodheh wrote:My vote goes to "Opening the Mouth". It's almost hypnotizing. Can and has helped me get in a near-meditative state. Polar opposite to "One Very Important Thought", which has this haunting, "impending doom" quality to it, especially at the chord change around "if you could be told..." in conjunction with its message.
2nd place would go to Julie and Candy (which happens to be my favorite BoC track ever), just because it feels like it comes from a place where everything makes sense and everything is alright...everything just comes together. It flows like a river and gives off a feeling like time has almost stopped and you're just there in the moment. OtM takes this to 11. It kinda reminds me of Zelda: Majora's Mask, when you play the song of time and go back to the dawn of the first day.
3rd place is maybe You Could Feel The Sky, because of the percussion mostly and the main drone-ish atmosphere, that or maybe Everything You Do is A Balloon, for its melody.
Saw a blind man walking down the street
Greets every person he chanced to meet
Saw a cop write a ticket to a man over fifty
Fell over laughing screaming he was a hippie
Ran into a granny had a smile on her face
Broke a trophy she just won in a race
Don't worry about the future
Forget about the past
Whether it's good or bad
It's a gas
Greets every person he chanced to meet
Saw a cop write a ticket to a man over fifty
Fell over laughing screaming he was a hippie
Ran into a granny had a smile on her face
Broke a trophy she just won in a race
Don't worry about the future
Forget about the past
Whether it's good or bad
It's a gas
Oh, and of course On A Rolling Sea

Saw a blind man walking down the street
Greets every person he chanced to meet
Saw a cop write a ticket to a man over fifty
Fell over laughing screaming he was a hippie
Ran into a granny had a smile on her face
Broke a trophy she just won in a race

so uplifting and calming, yet at the same time, somber
