Would? - Alice in Chains - Dirt.
Partly because my old band used to do a decent version of it, but it's such a killer track.
War Within A Breath - Rage Against The Machine - The Battle For Los Angeles (although Freedom off their debut runs it close)
I'm in a rock mood today.

I'm not just going for "good songs at the end of an album", I'm making sure that they actually are good ways to close their respective records, some what summing up what the album has said.

Blur - Battery In Your Leg
Linda Perhacs - Delicious
They Might Be Giants - End of the Tour

George Harrison - Hear Me Lord (No one counts the jam side)
Joni Mitchell - Hejira

Well Abbey Road has that whole medley leading into The End, which is a pretty good ending. BUT I'm gonna cheat kinda because I think She's So Heavy which ends side 1 of that album is a terrific closer the way it builds into sheer noise and then just cuts off. It's one of my favorite musical moments.
You're gonna carry that weight.

Serge Gainsbourg's Cargo CultE from Histoire de Melody Nelson
I was going to post Beck - Ramshackle here actually. Supposedly it was the only remaining track from the version of Odelay that he otherwise completely scrapped before writing all the stuff that eventully went on to appear on the album. The Telepathic Kid wrote:I'm not just going for "good songs at the end of an album", I'm making sure that they actually are good ways to close their respective records, some what summing up what the album has said.

Saw a blind man walking down the street
Greets every person he chanced to meet
Saw a cop write a ticket to a man over fifty
Fell over laughing screaming he was a hippie
Ran into a granny had a smile on her face
Broke a trophy she just won in a race
Don't worry about the future
Forget about the past
Whether it's good or bad
It's a gas
Greets every person he chanced to meet
Saw a cop write a ticket to a man over fifty
Fell over laughing screaming he was a hippie
Ran into a granny had a smile on her face
Broke a trophy she just won in a race

Still can't believe nobody has put Pink Floyd - Echoes.
