Forgive my ignorance...

But what is the benefit of these vinyl represses? Haven't all of these albums been officially available in FLAC and other formats? What is the main benefit of getting a repressed vinyl?

If only the pre-Twoism stuff would get a proper release.

well, personally, the main benefit for me is the stickers.. once I finally have those il use the LPs as place mats to eat on... or square frisbees... or just throw them out, they'll only clutter up the joint..

But haven't they been released in vinyl before? Are these represses remastered or improved? I obviously don't collect or know much about vinyl, that's why I was wondering why they would do something like this.

Yeah they exist already but in limited quantity. The bands fanbase has increased since the years they were pressed, so fans who missed out first time want to own them and not have to pay extortionate prices on discogs/ebay. Plus its a great money maker for Warp/BoC in general.

That's what I figured. I do know vinyl sales have been up in recent years, seems to be making a comeback in general.

It'd be great for true releases of some of their pre-Twoism stuff. I'm sure the band is aware there has been some demand for it. Maybe it's being considered given that this set of vinyl represses.

yea lol they're offering Geogaddi as a... Boxset no less!

pricey, even with the free shipping and probably no 12x12 print, not a good deal, would work out same
from bleep, its £10 cheaper there so...

True, in fact I bought them on hhv.de, free EU shipping and prices more and less similar to Bleep, just there isn't the print, but I'm ok with that.

Hi Scores is coming out on Vinyl later on this year. Not sure about anything earlier than that.

Well I'm definitely sold on buying Music Has the Right to Children, it's my favourite album and I always did want to own it on vinyl.

Bit of a shame it doesn't include Happy Cycling, I wonder why they'd decide to do that? Trying to stay as faithful to the original pressing as possible?

Yes, I would assume so, since they are repressed form the original master discs.

For MHTRTC what does White Polylined mean for the inner sleeve?
