Biosphere - Substrata

Yet another release that just pisses me off thoroughly at the world. Argh. Why hadn't I heard this before?!

But, thanks to that old eerie tape, HW and cqd for the introduction.

So have you confirmed that the tracks off of the 'eerie old tape' that Cupz had are all from this Biosphere album? If so, I'd better find a copy.
I make music as Sweguno.

Sorry, no I haven't. Just taking the word of others on that.

This album, Substrata, is definitely dark.. and eerie. Kind of like "Lustmord", but with music :) (oh and a smattering of spoken word.. and hey I'm not knockin' Lustmord!)

Ochre - REM Sleep Research

That's a track off of "A Midsummer Nice Dream"

Unbelievable.

Basically Chris Leary has validated everything I've believed in musically, from the standpoint of creation.

I demand a Ochre subforum!

Good to see Spacemen 3 get a mention here. If anyone in the UK is interested, Jason Pierce is doing an acoustic tour as J. Spaceman later in the year - promising a mix of Spritualized and Spacemen 3 stuff. Should be pretty special.

Now playing - Roots Manuva's "Run Come Save Me"; haven't heard it for a while and still sounds ace.

Pain Teens - Born in Blood / Case Histories

Hadn't listened in years, but it popped up on my iPod last night. Now I can't stop!
