the debut record from Jessy Lanza has leaked, and I'm really enjoying it.

Super cold 'n' sexy electro pop produced by one half of Junior Boys, some slight future garage and house influences in there as well.

*peers in* she's not in here too, is she?

Phew.

NP - The Chemical Brothers - Setting Sun

It's just struck me that this was a #1 single when it came out. It's absolutely bonkers - nothing that unhinged would chart nowadays.

that track's super noisy, I love it.

and I think she only stays on that thread.

myself? The new Tim Hecker, Virgins. Also going back and listening to his first record, Haunt Me Haunt Me Do It Again, as well.

It's insane - it sounds like someone has given Tomorrow Never Knows ALL THE DRUGS.

And it was a hit single!

Now: Spiritualized - I am what I am.

yeah this song is pretty fucking awesome. There was a lot of decent electronic music on the radio (atleast in the states) at that time surprisingly.

This is a sit around and cry to fiona apple kind of day/week/month for me

Greatest folk record ever.

Braids - Flourish // Perish

Recommend it a lot. Anyone else a fan, seems like the sort of album that'd appeal to BoCers.

Boards of Canada - Melissa Juice

They're a new band; you might want to check them out.
