I live in Dallas too and I will say it has nothing when compared to Austin. I love it there. Everything streamrunner said is 100% accurate...I'd totally live there in a heartbeat...

I live in Dallas too and I will say it has nothing when compared to Austin. I love it there. Everything streamrunner said is 100% accurate...I'd totally live there in a heartbeat...
It should be noted though, that if you can't handle HEAT, and I'm talking arid, steamy, beat your ass into the ground for 6 months out of the year, then Austin could potentially be a problem. That's one of the few negatives about living in Texas. I've got all sorts of kick ass winter clothing, but I can only wear it for 2-3 months out of the year.

soooo true...we get such a short winter here....and it seems the summers are just getting hotter and hotter...thought certain parts of texas or some what cooler than others...most of it too hot for my taste....i see a move in the future!!!
