If it helps, this isn't a usual 'band', we know it's a couple of guys that enjoy drawing us into the depths of their expression. Partly for mutual fun, partly as a vehicle to express things on a different level...sometimes to express significant aspects of the message.
This is purposefully expansive visual content, arguably a literal visualization of the music. It really shines in LP form. People are a prominent part of it. We knew at least some of the people weren't just random, and dealer's even met one or two. I don't think it's a stretch to guess that the bros want people to wonder here, get curious, look a little deeper (another ex: hexagonal kaleidoscopes). It's obviously part of the message. Heck maybe that was part of the reasoning behind the repress. I think the fact that some (most? all?) of the photography was personal to them is pretty cool besides, and I wasn't even curious enough before to wonder. I just took the art at surface value...easy to do since it's gorgeous.
Personally I think it's great to wonder about this, even to a crazy deep extent if someone wants to. I see possibly diminishing returns there for myself, but maybe someone can make their own message that far, what do I know. I reached a point personally where I stopped being embarrassed about being a part of this kind of connection with artists in general, especially these guys. It's an illustration of how deep the message can be if artists want it to be. I gotta say, I really like it like this. And still I sorta agree w/re's thinking at least, personally I like leaving a little bit of mystery too. I just don't like doing that to the point where I miss some of the message.

To the OP, read through Grim's post and it becomes apparent that at least one of the girls knows the guys. That would make it possible that some of the others do too, which would put me off looking for source films etc. But who knows.

go to any forum...there are fans...then there are the fucked up creepy fans who can't function due to their obsession. there is no exception here. this is feeling like one of those cases. psycho fans are equally psycho whether it's boc or justin beiber. so don't kid yourself...doesn't matter what band it is or to what level of detail they go into with their art....there will always be nutters following them.mr3 wrote:If it helps, this isn't a usual 'band', we know it's a couple of guys that enjoy drawing us into the depths of their expression. itt people who post in threads solely to say they're bad
Care to elaborate?re-phaelam-ed wrote:.....kettle.....black.GH wrote:Man. I'm not even gonna say anything, aside from saying I notice another irregularity in the consistency captain.
