Hey guys, just letting you know I'll be releasing a new album through 2060 Records on November 1st. We're pressing limited cassettes with this release, only 100 copies.

It's now on Bandcamp for pre-sale, so definitely buy your copy soon!

Two lovely yet short tunes.
"I'll comment when it releases."

I totally LOVE the artwork though.

Came to mention this release (haven't been on Twoism in a while, love ya guys though)!

I've had the pleasure of listening to the entire album and I can't recommend it enough! Maybe I can convince Alex to put up another track for everyone to listen to!

Now its a bit more clear what this album is about!
I really liked Sister Chromium. Some very lovely arps of some of my favorite chords. I was kind of hoping it would pick up more, diverse more, though I think get why it didn't. I thought the highs where a bit to loud, though that might be because you mastered it for tape (??? I don't know how that works), so when the low-pass filter entered the room it was really nice, and got in there fashionably late, and left the party way to soon.

Also I still really like that cooperation with Tape Sounds.

Really? I exported each stem at a low sample rate (I think around 11khz or something) and then pieced them back together with tape. I used a BASF chrome tape, which has a very dark sound. It may have been how I EQ'd initially. But I think the highs are pretty dull in my opinion. What were you listening out of? Expensive headphones?

The whole idea behind this album was to try to keep it from sounding DAW-like. I wanted to make it sound as genuinely "vintage" as I possibly could. I hindered myself from doing major inhuman edits. Every edit I made was all recorded and automated by hand. I also used a lot of different outboard stuff to keep things in the realm of "vintage".

And thanks man. We're supposed to have tapes/cds for that in the near future.
