Not sure what this topic is about, but I've been noticing some similarities between ae & BOC traxx.
Palace Posy --> Recury | Those fifth chords on Recury have a similar progression as the melody of Palace Posy for a brief length. Also, at the end, a weird voice comes in on both. The voices on each song are not dissimilar either.
Jacquard Causeway --> Eutow | Eutow is a much faster song , but the synthesizers build in a very similar manner throughout the entire song.
Anyone notice any other similarities?

Had the exact same thought a few days ago, no less. That gradual progession / addition of melody in both.azamarro wrote:Jacquard Causeway --> Eutow | Eutow is a much faster song , but the synthesizers build in a very similar manner throughout the entire song.
Incidentally, I think Eutow and Recury are two very different examples of great Autechre. I've always liked Eutow actually, and Chiastic Slide - on which Recury features - is chock full of cracking tracks.

I always liked Chiastic Slide better than anything else of theirs. Still do today. It's like it's alive or something, hard to explain.Betacord wrote:Had the exact same thought a few days ago, no less.
