That bassline with the synth strings over it reminds me a lot of 808 state.

Did Klaus Schulze invent acid house? Nah. Charanjit Singh was knocking Acid house out in 82.

That Klaus track is ace though but there's probably some stuff that pre-dates both of these guys.

I knew about those 10 Ragas but I think the Klaus Schulze has a more true house feel. But still its not exactly there. Something about the rhythm is off

But I think roots of most modern electronic styles can be found in new age music.
