thanks, fredd-e

its all sample based music, inspired by madlib, mf doom, dj shadow etc.

btw, i am not apart of free festival and am not signed to benbecula.

i was briefly apart of free festival but never actually participated and the other 2 brians just went on without me and made their fantastic album that is out now.

the other brian besides brian grainger aka milieu is brian ellis. i am just another brian aka fieldtriqp aka mokele and am currently unsigned.

:)

"Brother thadeus - cold steel out"

Just wanted to say how much I like this track! :-)

It's very reminiscent of a lot of Merck style tracks, especially Machinedrum who uses a lot of these kinds of cutup vocals; I like that.

It also resembles "Brothomstates - qtio" and "Autechre - ccec"

Anyways good stuff!

Keep it up ;)

a belated thanks, fredd-e:)

I changed the tracks on the mokele profile and added a couple new ones for download if anyone is interested.

"onwhypr" "cold steel out" and "city interlude" found here:

http://www.myspace.com/mbembemokele

onwhyper sounding more like a fieldtriqp track i think.

speaking of, there is a new fieldtriqp track on this page:

http://www.myspace.com/fieldtriqp

its called "june from space" and can be downloaded. a semi tribute in sound design, not title, to one of my all time favorite video games when i was young. any guesses which one?

new EP coming sooner than later. thanks:)

Just a guess, and it's probably wrong, but it kinda reminded me of the music from the 'Kraid's hideout' level on the original Metroid. It's very nice either way, and I'm really liking this "Cold Steel Out" track as well. :)
