Hey guys. A lot of this is pretty well-established, but I thought you might be interested in my analysis of Tomorrow's Harvest. Make comments, disagree with me, blah blah blah.

thats fuckin awesome, that totally ties up a lot of the ideas

edit: actually this is all pretty solid. at some point i'll leave comments on some stuff.. i especially like your idea about telepath.

very well done. it seems to me not as many fans as I thought are into cracking the codes, and this is a great idea. At what point is the reversed voice you say you hear in Gemini though?

edit: wait I got it. at the very end, right? funny I realised it's been there this whole time but never even thought about it

Glad you guys read and enjoyed. And please make comments. there are a few brain-fart errors i've found in there already. Check out my campfire headphase notes; they're about to tumble off of page 1 of the forums. they're not as long, but i need a ton of help with some of the stuff i hear on it.

I'm working on Geogaddi now. get excited.

Interesting about the bible verse, hadn't thought of that. I guess things should start to come into focus a bit more now that TH has been out for a bit.

The thing about the bible verse was probably the most enlightening part of it. It's nice to see someone's opinions laid out.

I think the Nothing is Real commentary is interesting. It does seem like maybe their disillusionment/nihilism toward the world has made them stray away from their definitive secret recipe. Not to say that what they've done since MHTRTC has been subpar, but there is a special magic from 1995-1998, like it's from another world. This song feels like it inhabits that era, in a way that not even IABPOITC or Geogaddi can touch. Music that feels like it's made without expectation.

To bring it out again full force for the first time in forever in a song called "Nothing is Real" is interesting. It's sad to say that I've probably followed a similar path in my life. MHTRTC is what led me to open my third eye. 15 years later, is it all for nothing?

I don't really think it's for nothing, but I think there are a lot of harsh realities about the world that get written off by psychedelic, world-is-one, pseudomystical thinking. There are a lot of serious problems in the world that need to change, and I tend to think that works like MHTRTC and the Headphase are about being satisfied and happy in the now. Having kids, for example, really makes one think about the importance of say, money, something that i didn't value for a long time, and poo-pooed anyone who did.

There's a lot to be said for changing your mind, and while it doesn't make the years in between a waste of time (if you enjoyed them, why's it a waste?) i still think there's more truth in the nihilistic, more worldly angle that BoC has adopted on the newest album.

i disagre with a lot of that stuff but i think its grate that other people have dif ideas of whats going on!!! (also i probly disagree with boc on some things, especialy that they made TH instead of TCH2 ) just my opinion not a big deal

I'm going to say something that I know is going to sound monumentally stupid but... the thought crossed my mind so I don't know, why not share it here.

You remember what had to be done for hint #5 for accessing that part of the Cosecha code ? Summing two audio files together.

As anyone tried doing the same thing with the pair of tracks on TH ? Like summing Gemini and Semena Mertvykh, or Reach for the Dead and Come to Dust ? I'd be curious of the results.

There's probably nothing there but if anything it could make for a cool alternative listening experience of the album...
