Concerning BoC and lack of communication, I've always thought that they had jobs, and did the music around it. IDK if that's true or not, but back in the day when they were just making music for their friends they would've had to have some kind of day job... And also concerning MDG, I just don't think he's an internet person. He runs the websites and such, but that doesn't mean he reads every post and every forum about BoC on the internet.

Finally, it was said that the album is coming out this year, and I think MDG want's that to be a concrete statement, not something repeated over and over again. Internal doubts are what's telling you any different.

Anyways, can't wait till I finally have it. -170.

Hah, nice bump. The boxset would be a nice way to cap off a banner year for BoC but it feels like it will never happen. I wish they had more respect for their old material, it's a lot better than they give it credit for. Then again, we couldn't get anything more than Seven Forty Seven out of them from the Geogaddi outtakes, when they were arguably at the top of their game...

It feels like OTV1/OTV2 are the odds n sods of the pre Twoism era. It's like we have the "lows" and there's a whole 'nother "echelon" of better stuff that no one's really heard.

Well, we've heard some of it, but we don't know the titles...(R35TT)

Respect works both ways though. Most of us I suspect have hooky copies of much of the old material - none of which we should rightfully have. From which direction should the respect come I wonder??

yea i think they've done enough for one year, we can't complain albeit a few hiccups with mastering vinyls or whatever, all shall be resolved. who'd have thought, new album with all the activity leading up to it then repressings all within 6 months or so.

2014 will be interesting we hope, an ep, a bocset, a live gig...

Mmmm. Gotta love a decent IPA. For all American beer gets a bad press over here, the microbrewery stuff is often fantastic in my experience. Best porter I ever had was in Kern Valley of all places.

Over here though, I was on the Sheridens last night (what? It's Christmas! I know, I've no class.), but if we're talking beer I'll hop over to Dublin and drink Guinness straight out the tap

Sometimes I wonder if all the americans here are like WHY ARE ALL THE BRITS CONSTANTLY GOING ON ALL THESE DIFFERENT BEERS?
American beer... Haven't really tried it. Other than Sam Adams which is oookaaay haha. I agree about Guinness. I can tank that stuff like nothing else :p had a beer called "Santa's swallie" hahaha - was not the best.
