I recently licensed this photo illustration to former Ozzy guitarist Joe Holmes for his new Farmikos project. It's in use at their website along with a couple of demo tunes featuring Robert Trujillo (Metallica) on bass and my friend Robert Locke on vocals. An EP is in the works and it will likely be in use there as well.

I love this sort of stuff - sounds like the US version of 'hauntology' - I think there's a few threads about it here, very much a thing here in the UK as well, same period of 70s/80s with different cultural reference points, obviously.blankleader wrote:I'm working with someone to get this live by summer. A site dedicated to the deeper cuts of post-Nixon to pre-Clinton nostalgia and the emerging world of graphic and fine arts, film, music and even lifestyles that appear to be building around it. The memories you can't quite put your finger on. The words at the tip of your tongue. A smell that stops you in your tracks and reminds you of something you haven't thought of in decades.

These kinds of posters are awesome and the eccentric in me wants to plaster my entire bedroom with them. There's definitely a tactile response in my mind...you associate them with a tangible smell, feeling or taste as well.jcnporter wrote:I love this sort of stuff - sounds like the US version of 'hauntology' - I think there's a few threads about it here, very much a thing here in the UK as well, same period of 70s/80s with different cultural reference points, obviously.blankleader wrote:I'm working with someone to get this live by summer. Thanks Perch... I'm starting a cassette label with emphasis on Lo-fi sample based hip hop, Juke, Vaporwave, etc. The second artwork that you like is artwork for a compilation which will be the first release. There is a series of them for each track. Release of the compilation and site launch will take place around late spring, early summer.Perch wrote:Love that second one. What's this for?asymmetrical head wrote:Starting something new...
Here's a series of bumps I've made that will give you some idea of what we're about.
