Video was recorded to make a friend who's a BOC fan and musician crazy. Worked wonders. Simple tweaks to the famous IDM preset.

Wait I'm confused are you joking or are you serious? Because that is not even close to the pete standing alone sound lol.. don't think they even used a "pad" on that instrument, pretty sure it's a guitar note/chord ran through a tape recorder then sampled and processed.

Nonetheless, I think a decent number of people in this forum underestimate the amount of instrumentation done by the brothers that doesn't involve synthesizers or oscillators or whatever- I almost only use sampled guitar notes/harmonics for synth-like texture and can get 100% copy-cat boc sounds.
