I uploaded a new version ov my track yesterday, https://soundcloud.com/trancecorp-resea ... ew-version
all I did was add a Philip zimbardo vocal sample and then garble that in a pattern roughly similar to the drums

Was messing around with my sampler having too much fun messing with the flanger effect on a drum loop, so I decided to record it. Going to layer a few dry drum patters over this and add some acid later so it has more replay potential.

This is great; that synth has some real nice fuzz around the edges.

Fits my mood perfectly right now. Kind of in a dark place. Can't get out. No matter how hard I try.

Nice vibes.

maybe do a bit with the mixing idk. the individual sounds (especially the synths, I love them) are really cool but maybe a bit ov a better blend? percussion is a bit busy as well... really unique sound though and that must be what yr going for so.
I listened to some of yr newer stuff too. summer has kind ov a rough start to my ears cos of the cheesy drum machines but it does develop into something beautiful.
what do u make yr stuff with? do u prefer to program or play stuff?

Thanks for listening and feedback,

Yeah, mixing is craft I haven't mastered yet, most of the new tracks are mixed using old Mackie CR-1604, which makes them a little dirtier, but i like the way final mix sounds.

Center of my setup is Numerology sequencer, hardware synths are oberheim matrix 1000 and nord micromodular, have bought a quadraverb recently too. I programmed something like 5 patches for matrix 1000 which I love using, it's almost in every track.

that's hella cool! i asked because yr trax have this sort ov lilt to them rhythmically and also kind of a roughness to them which is hard to get just using software and i guess my suspicions were confirmed: yr using hardware synths. i wish i had space in my house for some nice ass hardware synths n effects and a mixer that would be really cool. do u use the reverse function a lot on yr quadraverb?
oh also a thing:
