It's almost better to ask them to open a sealed record, and ship it with the inner sleeve and record on the outside. Most good vinyl mail order sellers will do that with used vinyl to eliminate this.

I reckon soon, they emailed me saying it would be in the new year, and that they would confirm the dispatch via email. Sit tight I guess!

Does anyone have an update on TCH reissue? As of december Bleep were replacing the faulty vinyls (sounds like with more faulty vinyl in many cases) and said there was a hold up on TCH due to the 'known issue' which was being fixed.

I had this happen when I ordered Tomorrow's Harvest. I emailed Bleep and they sent me some new sleeves at no charge.

The only albums being pressed again are the two from vinyl factory UK. You can see that by looking on WARPs site; they are the only two albums on back order.
Still waiting for my repressed replacement of TCH :cry:

Have you compared what you're hearing on your vinyl copies to the digital version of the song? After reading about your issues with this song, I listened closely to my IABP record, and sure enough, static at the end of Amo Bishop Roden. But then I listened to the digital version I had in iTunes. Static at the end. Downloaded a FLAC rip from what.cd. Static at the end. Downloaded a 24-bit rip of the original pressing. Static at the end. Downloaded the complimentary mp3s from Bleep from ordering the vinyl. Static at the end. Posted a thread on Reddit asking people to listened to their digital copies. They reported static at the end.

The rest of my IABP pressing sounds great. Is it possible that this isn't a defect, and that the source material may simply have some static?

You see this is the problem, there are so many contributing factors to the possible defects e.g. your own hi fi equipment, dodgy stylus, bad speakers etc..

But the biggest problem is BoC aren't exactly a crystal clear no distortion shiney compressed studio rock/pop band where the issue would be obvious or not. It's kinda hard to tell if some of the problems are intentional and you've just missed some harmonic frequencies/distortion or if it's actually defected. Obviously with TCH is bad, but there are some where I have questioned if it's just the music and we're hearing it differently because of different variables involved.

Hi, I downloaded the MP3 from the site, with the download card included with the record. My MP3 version definitely does not have the noise at the end of Amo Bishop Roden. This is why I knew it was an issue, because the original track is not supposed to have that distortion.

I just double checked the song through my Bose system and turned it way up, and other than a very, very tiny bit of static heard around the when the 5:40 mark and the 5:50 mark this doesn't even remotely sounds close to all the distortion when I play the vinyl. Not even close. The entire last minute of all 5 vinyl copies I had played back with pronounced noise all the way through until the end of the track. The digital track only in those 2 tiny spots and it is nowhere near as loud/pronounced. The digital track sounds like static, the vinyl playback sounds more like distortion/noise.

Unless it's the way that static was mastered to vinyl, and playback on the vinyl sounds a lot worse.

I deduced it was within the track when I found all 5 copies to playback the same. There was one of the 5 that had scratches to the vinyl, just like photos on this thread, so 1 out of 5 still had a pressing issue, rather than a mastering issue.
