Any love about for ex-Cocteau Simon Raymonde's band Snowbird, on his Bella Union label?
The singer is Stephanie Dosen, and the result is more Cocteau-sy than I would have expected, capturing quite a lot of the nuances that I loved yet couldn't put my finger on. It's right up my street.

As a HUGE cocteau's fan it's reminiscent but imbued with different flavours too. Really great melodies and varied songs but coherent and beautiful sound.
