by a few accounts, they're excellent drummers/bass players and one of the guys from autechre recently raved about one of them being really amazing on keys. live performance might involve more than pushing buttons.

I had a dream several years ago of them playing a small stage in a clearing in the woods. different lengths of tape had been hung all around the stage, some of them looking really damaged as if they'd been waiting there a long time, and they took turns taking them down and mounting them while the other covered other instruments. weird and probably unrealistic, but still a fun dream to have.

autechre are incredible live, with no visual element. portishead are also great and use brilliant, simple imagery as a backdrop. expecting something in between with boc..

I have a credit card with a decent limit on it. It's kept in a glass box on my bedroom wall, with a little hammer next to it. It is ONLY to be used as and when (a) my family and I have to flee the country in fear of our lives, (b) Newcastle United get to a major cup final (ha! as if..), or (c) BOC play live.

Not necessarily in that order either.

Life is all about priorities.
