Your dream BOC setlist

Post by Generalchesty »

In response to recent hype on the live speculation board, what songs would you like to see BOC play live?

I know I would die a very happy man if they played ATP track 8...

I'm sure it will be much shorter and peppered with older vignettes. I'd love to see "Chromakey Dreamcoat," though.

1: unreleased song
2: unreleased song
3: unreleased song
4: variation on something from Geogaddi
5 - 8: see 1

Seriously, I'd rather hear songs I don't know yet, makes it much more of a show I guess.
I can hear all the songs I know at home already ;)

Nothing but unreleased stuff. What's the point of hearing old stuff for the millionth time? This is only coming from someone who's heard their work a million times over and needs something new :)

Can't disagree more, I actually love live versions of the known tracks, tbh, it would amazing to hear a well known track live by the BoC, go listen to Telephasic Workshop or Aquarius for ex.

All ever made.
But being serious about it. Things that are on the higher energy spectrum of their immense arsenal.

Catalog 3 and Acid Memories.

Nothing more. Just their earliest album/EP, the true backbone of Boards of Canada.

I need to think on it awhile...it would be nice to hear some things from their older releases that they didn't really visit live when they were actually playing a few gigs.

I know if anyone doesn't want to be pegged as a nostalgia act, it's them, so it will probably mostly be TCH/TH stuff with some unreleased material mixed in along with a couple classics.
