Episode 2 is live. It's the beginning of my overall analysis of Tomorrow's Harvest. Please enjoy, I'd love to get your feedback and your own interpretations.

Thanks BrunchTime. I think your podcast is a nice overview of TH's themes, but sometimes the buried voice sample analysis gets out there a little bit, even for me.

Maybe that stuff is there, maybe it isn't, but you're at your most relatable when we don't have to stretch to understand what you're talking about (you're preaching to the choir here I suppose, but it's nice to be able to kick your podcast over to a non-dyed in the wool fan/layperson and not have them be derailed with Alex Jones type stuff)

Take it or leave it, otherwise I love what you're doing here!

Hey man, 100% appreciate the input. I know a lot of this stuff is out there, and I know nobody has a ton of fun talking politics. I wouldn't be talking about the police state I live in, government surveillance, and mass media, if I weren't staunchly convinced that Tomorrow's Harvest is a fairly politically motivated album. Seriously, man... that FEMA sample in Split Your Infinities, the reversed Chemtrails sample in Sick Times, the eye in front of the pyramid on NewClearDawn.com... I definitely don't think that's the whole of the album's message, but I think it's a significant part, especially of the first half. Don't worry, I don't have plans to start whining about fluoride in the water, MK ultra, or gang stalking, and it's hard to think of anything all that political going on after Split your Infinities.

Thanks a ton for listening, and don't worry, things aren't going to have such a political tilt when it comes time to break down, say, The Campfire Headphase.

And I can't thank you enough for kicking the podcast out to your friends, I really appreciate it.

Maybe I should've taken time and established a level-headed ethos before going at this crazy album.

I agree, it's a crazy album...I know there is some well buried stuff in there if you really dig for it. I think comparing it to an Alex Jones thing might have gone a little too far. I think focusing on pointing out the stuff that almost anyone can hear after a couple of listens (the FEMA stuff in Split Your Infinities, the weary paean to atheism/agnosticism in Nothing is Real) is where you'd shine most, or pointing out cool easter eggs like Split Your Infinities > Uritual > Nothing is Real > SUNdown, etc. I don't want to conduct your podcast for you, but there is such a wealth of barely hidden things worth pointing out on this album that don't require going too far off the beaten path to point out!

I think focusing on the apparent themes of the album and the easier to discern samples would serve you well. I don't know if you're focusing on the typical Twoism user (people who have pored over the album extensively) or if you're trying to provide an overview of the album to someone who wants to know more.

In any case, thanks again for your work...cheers brother! Can't wait to hear what's next!

Hahaha... I honestly don't know either man... I'm just writing down what's on my mind

I'm hoping/praying the themes will all tie together nicely come the end!

Regarding your analysis of Sick Times being about the media keeping us occupied while the truth sneaks around us, have you considered the voice sample saying "you'll believe anything?" That's what I've always heard, but then if I listen for "you'll get anything" I can kind of hear that too. The more you hear it the more things it could be!

appreciate the podcast. thanks for putting it together, it's interesting for sure. my only request so far is that you would replay your clips of masked vocals again after you say what you think you heard. in the latest episode, most of the clips are played first, then you reveal, but then i think it would be nice to hear it again. keep it up!

yeah... I've seen that interpretation tossed around before, I just can't make myself hear it. Doesn't mean it isn't there, and it definitely fits with my overall read of the song... I'll give it a few more listens soon.

I'll think about it. If I'm feeling motivated when it comes time to record/edit, I'll try to do this for you guys.

Does anyone else think this would be a significant improvement?

I think it is necessary. I listened to both of your podcasts in the car and wasn't in a place to stop and listen to the song on my own, so a repeat or two of the clip would be great. Could you trigger them live so you're not having to do so much post editing?

That's a good idea, unfortunately, my laptop's out of commission, and I don't have anything i could use in the ol' booth at this point. I'll do what I can.

These really deserve your time Twoismers.
Best one so far, and I've loved all three.

Actually heard at least some of the voices you picked out this time, and repeating some of the clips is definitely very, very helpful in my view, so cheers for taking the time to do that.

Loving some of the in depth analysis you've picked out too and anything that touches upon Shakespeare and Nietzsche has to be worth a listen. Come on people, give it a spin and show some love.

I've quite enjoyed listen to these, it's certainly interesting to hear somebody else's interpretation of this album. I have one nit pick though, there is a lot of speech during the last fifty seconds of Nothing Is Real.

I listened to all these last night, nice one dude, I really enjoyed listening to your analysis. When listening to a podcast its important that the narrator doesn't have an annoying voice lol. Im glad you do it very well, I look forward to the next one

I would highly recommend people who are new to BoC to listen to these.

hey man, I promise I'm not trying to nit-pick but I had a go at isolating the vocals in Palace Posy a few months ago (already posted in the Palace Posy thread) and I think if you have a listen you'll have a different interpretation of what is being said!

As you said in the podcast, you think it sounds like a man saying "this is strange", I think it sounds completely different in this clip ^^

And great job on the podcasts, I thoroughly enjoyed them all and glad someone has taken the time to compile all this stuff together.
