I'll be surprised if any freebies were given away. This must already be costing them a bomb.
Besides, I'll just be happy with the vinyl, in good condition, at the already reasonable (ie. non-ebay) prices.

I hope they have new catalog numbers or we won't know which are the fixed versions.

very good point, they should do BY LAW - joke, but yes normally in these cases they'd have a
new cat. id, be interesting to see.

Went to pic up a TCH at the record store today, asked if I could check it before i bought it.

Good thing i did, because this is what came out the sleeve:

Looks like it's melted or something. There was an audible static noise at that part, but less then I expected.. still, I'm glad they had another copy there as well :)

I'm so glad I don't buy records anymore; so fragile.

Today is the day that the replacements are supposed to ship. I wonder what exactly is being replaced (all the Vinyl Factory stuff, I assume?)

I complained about those three specifically in my original e-mail to Bleep, but didn't bring up Geogaddi. I know it has issues with Corsair in a lot of cases, so I'm curious if that one is going to be re-re-repressed too.

I heard the replacements come with a hexagon dial sticker showing the artwork for Catalog 3/Acid Memories/Closes Vol. 1/Play By Numbers/Hooper Bay/Maxima (too lazy to photoshop it to properly start that rumor up, we're due for a new hoax by now, aren't we?)

Has anybody received an Email that the Vinyl were sent yesterday?
I didn't receive an email, just wondering what the procedure is. Just sent them out because they told us in an email a few weeks ago that they would be shipped on the 24th, or sent an email as some sort of extra confirmation. I mean we've been wating for a long time, who knows what could have happened again ;p

I got one last week saying they are happy for them to be "despatched" on the 24th. So sit tight this week I spose!

My replacements of Campfire and Trans Canada arrived today and although I haven't listened to them all the way through the original problems don't seem to be there and in general they sound quiet.

I had a separate email from a warp representative (I think) saying they had received replacements of Geogaddi disc three to send out now as well, so fingers crossed that will arrive in a few days.

Where do you live Jm031689?

Simce the Geogaddi replacement hasn't been sent out yet, I guess I'll have to wait a bit longer, because I ordered the 3 album pack.

My replacement Campfire records arrived today. Disappointingly they appear to have been pressed on lower weight vinyl. Haven't had chance to give them a listen yet.

EDIT: my bad, there's a new entry on discogs for the campfire headphase

This "situation" with Geogaddi - Corsair distortion is a little annoying, Bleep resend me already the 3rd disc, back in November, but with the same distortion on Corsair, so what should me do, buy another copy, or contact Bleep

Contact them, your entitled to a good copy. But maybe you should have contacted Bleep right after they sent u the 2nd wrong one.

Mine have arrived, clean pressings. Seemed to have been sorted out. The only problem, as already mentioned is they are on thinner vinyl. Small price to pay really. They sound good.

Yeah, that's right, but maybe they shouldn't resend me that 3rd disc at first, if it was that common problem, that they re-repressed it, anyways gonna wait TCH replacement first. Btw the 3rd disc of Geogaddi is very good sounding, but distortion on Corsair is quite massive, esp. if you listen to it on a good system.

Just got my new copy of TCH. Sounds good to me. I didn't actually notice the lower weight, but it doesn't really bother me. I'm just glad that they are sounding good and without any pops/severe surface noise.
