Yo bro, I agree that there's a lot of other stuff going on there, I just don't have any idea waht to make of it... Sounds like paranormal EVP ghost-chatter with the "this is strange" voice beside it. Totally hear it and thanks for the isolation work.

And sorry for the political tilt, arvy, but imo it's central to the album!!

Life's not all roses, dude, some pretty big ideas are getting tossed around here, I doubt they reference chemtrails, FEMA camps, the "American/European" samples in CTD, etc etc for no reason.

Brilliant stuff, great take on the album and thoroughly thought provoking and great way to start a discussion, don't listen to the negative comments. Anyone who has put some serious effort and has pure passion for some piece of music is well worth my time of day. Looking forward to the next.

i'm seriously surprised you hear all of this shit that nobody hears, and yet you don't even seem willing to listen again to a sample that is fairly audible.

it's ok man, i don't think i'm 100% right at all.

to me it sounds like " jesus was YOUUNIDDYY" although "you indeed" certainly fits in with the rest of the "poem"

ps. listened to all of your stuff thus far. interesting, but i think you might be stretching a bit with some stuff. i.e. using paulstretch.

Episode 4 is up. A more personal talk this time, more general, but it should set the stage well for my upcoming analysis of The Campfire Headphase. That's what I'm hoping, at least. Hope the way I pointed out the "thank you" samples works for you guys!

Thanks for this, brotherman! Hearing MHTRTC for the first time in summer of '98, it really helped me do a 180 on my opinion on "drugs" - I had been passed joints a few times by high school friends prior to that, but I never really understood the appeal. I always say "An Eagle in Your Mind" was the moment it all clicked for me.

I had just turned 20 when this album was released, so it's an easy reference point to when I can look back and say that's when I started exploring my mind. In turn, Geogaddi made me "get" psychedelics, but by the time it was coming around, that was the logical next step for someone who insists on reading about a thing before actually doing it (that sure helped me avoid going down the paths of more destructive substances) and it was the perfect companion to my first LSD and psilocybin experiments.

I find it's basically impossible to adequately describe any of my past psychedelic experiences, so it was brave of you to attempt to do that.

I consider psychedelics (and cannabis for that matter) to be medicine with a capacity for abuse. I'm glad I don't smoke every day anymore, once a month is plenty, and a trip or two out in the wilderness per year when all the stars align is still amazing - weather, scheduling and being in a good place personally all have to be lined up perfectly.
