Perch wrote:hey again! here's a more complete set of images. We stayed up watching dune and putting these together. This has been such a fun submission. Again, I have to give most of the image credit to my good friend paul rabe https://vimeo.com/payl I'm just doing the arrangement/text/color-correction

Still a bit rough

I like and would prefer this one too.

It's not that I dislike a lot of the designs so far, it's that so many of them are just so much like what we've had in the past.
Okay...now...wait for fog machine.

Some brilliant work here. My favourites so far are from Rotane and Perch. Well done everybody.

Is there a way to formally submit the artwork? I wasn't too sure if there was an official way to give the files to whoever was setting up the poll.

Once the deadline has reached I'll make a poll of all the complete artwork packages in this topic.

No problem! My friend Paul has been working for a while with using normal computer scanners in really weird ways. The stranger the substance, the cooler the scan. He got really into scanning stuff like smoke and glass pans of different liquids, and combining them with different colored lights, all just set flat on an open scanner. There's really no end to the different results you get from it. I used some different grimy and paper-y textures, with some warmer color correction to make them feel a bit more dated and printed out.

Cool man, checked out some of the videos you linked too, very cool. Great work on the design too, my favourite so far.

actually like this one a lot, but not too keen on the font. a/f/a imagery goes though, it's very nice.

One minor thing I'd change on this is to keep the artists/songs in line, from number 10 on they don't sit quite well, in my opinion, I'd keep em in line. Kind of a weird jump in the text.

Sorry for the somewhat of a repost, just added the cd design. The image with the full artwork, minus the cd of course, is a few pages back, and thought it may go un-noticed. Seems to be the cover all over the place. Feel free to delete the earlier post mods, if it's spam, if so apologies.

The disc is a little different, same imagery, but slightly more psychedelic colours, I thought some variation be nice and be a bit of a surprise when the case is opened (if it's chosen of course, ha) and i think the colours would look cool set against on the black plastic case.

Hope ye dig it lads!
definitely the main contender IMO.
