This is really, really good. I didn't really care too much about Scintilli, even though I liked a few tracks. This is really promising!

Agree! I liked a couple of things I heard before Scintilli came out and was then largely unimpressed by the album. Really like this new track but I'm only cautiously optimistic it will be representative of the new album.

Beautiful track. I've been a fan since circa 1999. This new track sounds very good, deep and melodic. The way I like it! Looking foward to hear the new album in full.

Hawkmoth absolutely hit the spot for me. As someone who has never really delved into Plaid's music before, can someone recommend or suggest an album for me to start with before his new record drops?

my personal favourite is Rest Proof Clockwork, but that's mainly because it has a rather heavy up beat hip hop type flavour to it, not that similar to the new track.

If you want stuff more like that new track maybe go with Double Figure?

or do as I did and just start at the start with Not for Threes and their Trainer compilation.

Plaid sound on good form

The strong melodic element of Hawkmoth is brilliant, and I'm liking the percussion on both it and Tether. Listened to Scintilli previously, which definitely had its moments and was a solid album, but I didn't think it was up there; in my view, this sounds like it's nearer the mark.
