Palace Posy - possible sample source?

Okay, so I was buggering around on youtube the other night, and noticed something weird. I was watching complations of old TV show finishing logos when I heard this:

I thought the NYELEVEN NYELEVEN thing sounded familiar. Now if you listen to a certain part of Palace Posy:

Doesn't that weird chanting sound kinda similar to the singing in the title card?

Obviously it's been pitch shifted and spliced and reversed or whatever, but it seems pretty distinctive to me. Random sample huh?

Anyone else hear it?

That's a good find, what I'm far more interested in though is the sample source for the voice in Nothing Is Real. Isn't anyone else dying to know where that comes from? I think it's a very unusual vocal addition for BoC because it's far more long, clearly spoken, and prominent within the music than any of their other vocal samples in their studio albums.

Googling the sentences spoken by the voice in that song, you'll find no results other than references to the song itself. Which means no one was aware of this paragraph existing, on the internet at least, before TH's release. And no one seems to have a found a source so far. Which leads me to two beliefs - it's a very rare recording of archive footage that the bros dug up from god knows where, or they recorded the voice themselves. Would the brothers have actually utilised an individual speaking an original monologue for one of their tracks? I don't think they've ever done that in the past, all previous samples have been sourced from archive footage of some description. As far as I know. Or perhaps we just haven't uncovered the original source yet?

In fact many of the speech samples used on the band's records are personal recordings, custom made for the tracks.

You went deep on this one. I wouldn't be surprised if this was mdg's intentions. But back to topic, his answer opened up for even more questions - who spoke/sang in the speech samples? Themselves? Some of their family? Friends? Co-workers? Strangers?

don't think it really matters, seems like a totally useless, potentially invasive question (sorry) - i guess the idea is that the band wrote the speech content themselves and found some appropriate voice, probably in much the same way as you would find an appropriate synth patch hahaha.

I wager it's an obscure sample from somewhere they heard that made their ears prick up and want to use. BoC are kings of obscure samples.

Come to think of it it sounds a lot like it could be a narrator reading an excerpt from an old text written by a relatively unknown poet some time ago. That's the sort of thing you might expect to find on an obscure historical documentary or something of the like.

Wow, you guys are soooo awesome. I mean that! Thank you for figuring this out.

Of course, Palace Posy was already up there for me as one of the most profound tracks on TH, but now that I know this, my mind is so blown away by the genius of this sample that I can't even break it down properly. Again, props to you guys for discovering the source, and holy shitballs BoC! Not only did they chop that vintage logo chant of 11 up to sound like a group of demonic creatures out for blood, but they also made it sound like it's now saying 'the eleven,' as if these creepers have a name. It goes even deeper than that when you get into what the number 11 signifies for some people. It's a visionary number representing intuition, peace, and light. However, it can also represent peril and transgression, making it a paradox, much like the Palace Posy chant itself; creepy, demonic voices making me want to run while blissed out because it sounds so dope.

This album didn't hit me all at once when they streamed it for the first time. It also seemed like a simpler album compared to the previous ones. However, here it is almost a year later, and one could argue that on an artistic level, this is the most penetrating, abstract, and esoteric album, yet.
