No, they're not voice samples, just some bleeps and such, really strange sounds. I keep associating them with Lemmings (if you click on the bottom buttons in the game)

Have you guys listened to the last 30 seconds of Satellite Anthem Icarus backwards? It kinda reminds me of a little old tunes melody:

a. Into The Rainbow Vein. I always enjoyed BOCs ability to make a short but excellent intro to one of their albums.

b. Satellite Anthem Icarus.

c. '84 Pontiac Dream

d. Macquarie Ridge. I believe this track to be one of Boards greatest creations.

e. Slow This Bird Down. The clicks, snaps and pops used in this song remind me of Coil.

f. Ataronchronon

g. Tears From The Compound Eye

More than five but whatever.

Still a bit early to tell, but I really like...

'84 Pontiac Dream
Satellite Anthem Icarus
Sherbet Head
Slow this Bird Down
Farewell Fire

Macquarie Ridge...still hasn't gotten here dammit! My list keeps changing as well. I really love the first few seconds of Hey Saturday Sun right before the guitar kicks in. The whole album keeps evolving inside my brain, so it could be completely different a week from now. Toodles.

After several listens I've decided that my new favorite track is "Tears from the Compound Eye." It's not only my favorite on the album, but it's becoming an all time favorite. It's one of those tracks that reminds you why this is your favorite band. People always talk about BoC conjuring up nostalgic memories of their childhood or past experiences...this track brings up nostalgia for when I first got into BoC. Incredible!

Well, I've only been listening for two days, but...

1 - Peacock Tail (!!!)
2 - Satellite Anthem Icarus
3 - Tears From the Compound Eye
4 - Sherbet Head
5 - Farewell Fire

The melodies in this album are so orgasmically rich and full; on the whole an entirely different beast from past albums for sure.

Peacock Tail makes me tear up it's so lovely... The outro consisting of 'Tears From the Compound Eye' and then 'Farewell Fire' is one of the most powerfully emotive things I've ever heard, reminiscent of a funeral procession or something...

There really isn't a single track I dislike at this point, which is pretty unprecidented.

no particular order:
1. macquarie ridge (gotta stop putting that on repeat and watching meteosat weather pics pingponging while stoned!)
2. satellite anthem icarus
3. peacock tail
4. sherbet head
5. oscar see through red eye (that was a grower for me)
6. slow this bird down
7. tears from the compund eye
personally though i think the whole album is amasing and you could pick any track out of there for individual listening. easily on a par with their other releases. i cant see how any one couldnt like this album. even my mum loves MHTRTC (she bought it herself after i came over to canada for xmas and played it for her and her partner last year), but know once she hears this shell go nuts. everybody loves TCHP , except for ollie, cus he's deaf. (sorry, dude)

From good to...less good :P

01-Sherbert head....
02-Chromakey dreamcoat...(it becomes a cliche...but it really gives a warm feeling...)
03-Peacock tail...(it made me chuckle)
04-Hey saturday sun...
05-Satallite Anthem Icarus...(Dispite the length of the track...although I can understand why)
06-kids for today..(I know its not from CFHP,but it rules so much!)
Throw away your smartphone.
