Great set (the online show--I wish I could be in Scotland for the live stuff!). I can't imagine how mind-blowing some of that early material would have been for me, if I heard it back then ('93!?). Seriously, aphex kicked my music-loving ass back in '94, but this is another thing altogether.

Yeah I was there also, it was great. Any idea what that third track was? It was kind of soundscapey, I had never heard it before and it was mind bendingly gorgeous. picked up a signed poster too, had a chat with the guy and he was just really nice. Mentioned he might be playing in Glasgow soon, and another gig in Edinburgh. Apparently this one was filmed and recorded.

hadnt listened to much of the cathexis stuff for some reason, but i am gonna need to buy that shit now, its really very beautiful.

Another great, solid gig from Christ. tonight at the Beresford. Same set as Edinburgh, sound was not as good, twice as expensive... but was it worth it? Obviously.

I had to go home earlier than expected tonight so I didnt get a chance to chat and therefore don't have any news re: future gigs like last time, but some wee guy was telling me he recorded an interview for Sunny Govan Radio. I don't think he had any idea who he was talking to, but at the end of the gig he seemed very impressed! "I've been going to raves for years and this is clearly related but so much more intelligent. This kinda thing would put DJs out of business if people knew about it!" Anyway, hopefully the interview materialises as it sounded rather interesting. Nothing to do with music apparently.

These random sunbed loving pricks showed up about 2/3 of the way thru (you know the type, top button done up kinda guys) and started acting like total fuds, I don't know what they were expecting but it clearly wasn't IDM/electronica. Even they ended up clearly enjoying it, despite ripping the piss at first. "pure stoner shite" "here that was actually pretty class byraway"... Glasgow.

The whole thing was filmed so for those who were posting on the fb group wishing they could come, keep an eye on his Facebook page as I presume there will be news forthcoming.

Nice one man, there are also two releases on Parallax's bandcamp, did you get these?

BTW if anyone fancies a trip up north to see him in Edinburgh or Glasgow, you're welcome to crash on my airbed for a night, and also get pissed on some of the fine ales / cheap whiskys on offer chez mark.
