I have found a website with an archive of old editions of Media Network, a programme which ran on Radio Netherlands World Service from 1980 to 2000. The archive is run by the programme's host Jonathan Marks and is at this website: http://jonathanmarks.libsyn.com/
This was easily the best programme of its type on shortwave radio. It often had features on stuff like number stations and the Russian "Woodpecker" over-the-horizon radar that operated in the 1980s.
For example here is the show with a feature on number stations: http://jonathanmarks.libsyn.com/mn-11-0 ... r-stations
And here is a show with a feature on the Conet Project: http://jonathanmarks.libsyn.com/mn-27-0 ... er-project
And another - this one broadcast on the day of the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait in August 1990: http://jonathanmarks.libsyn.com/media_n ... stery_1990
And this one has a feature on the Woodpecker: http://jonathanmarks.libsyn.com/mn_14_n ... or_the_dti
I hope you enjoy these programmes as much as I did, back in the day on SW and now via WWW.

Jesus, was it you indeed?
To flirt unkindly with my greed
Promising eternal life
When you knew it was not right?
When you knew that what I'd need was willingness and comfort there
To flirt unkindly with my greed
Promising eternal life
When you knew it was not right?
When you knew that what I'd need was willingness and comfort there
