This is likely a clear explanation, but the imagery just seems to precise to be otherwise. Considering it seems to be an original image, I don't get why anyone at AS would go out of their way to take a picture of a radome for this tweet.
Considering the recent activity from mdg and the BoC facebook, it's likely something will happen this year. I honestly doubt it'll be a live show, but it'll be something. Considering how deeply conceptual TH was, it's likely they produced other tracks that didn't cut the mustard in terms of their mood/theme, hopefully which will be compiled on an EP? It's wishful thinking, but I wouldn't say this tweet as it currently stands leads us any closer to new BoC material.

Yeah as optimistic as I am about some sort of new release coming soon, I honestly don't believe Warp Records is going to rehash an advertising campaign for Boards of Canada via Adult Swim.
I mean I've been watching Adult Swim since way back when and they tend to utilize a lot of archival footage that seems like it would be perfect for a BoC video. This changes the game for me. Originally I thought AS mentioning Illuminati combined with a doppler tower picture would have been too random not to be something BoC related. But now knowing AS has been into a Illuminati kick, it takes out the randomness for mentioning the Illuminati. As for combining it with a doppler tower picture, at this point in time I'm going to say it's either A) random and only for aesthetic reasons or B) the folks at AS are simply BoC fans and were influenced by them
sooooo it nothing else happened during Adult Swim? I would be interested to know what song was playing with the radome image, as that would obviously be what the original tweet was referring to? though if it wasn't a new song I don't see what the point would have been
