Yes, we had a BBQ on the go last year, albeit the location ensured we had to keep it fairly small. We have to lump everything about a mile down a rough track so do consider weight and packing. As I recall I did a nice line in pork and chorizo sausages as well as venison burgers. Rikkiebags managed to cremate his sausages however, causing much amusement and talk of Cajun bangers :wink:

on a wild camping trip last summer my girlfriend's dad did some bbq fresh mackerel, straight out of the sea opposite the campsite. fecking. amazing. but my hands smelled like fish for like a week which was a wee bit shite.

I'll remind you if the 'Pfffft' as we yomp back UP the track at sparrows-fart on the Sunday morning, complete with ranging hangover and stinking of smoke. There's a distinct gradient :wink:

The mackerel sounds amazing man! As we were packing up to go around 5.30AM last summer, two guys were out chucking a couple of lines in. We were all sat with a brew watching them. Don't think they caught much though.

In other news, I think Saurus might be joining us from Wales now too? Huzzah!

I'd love to make it to one of these, unfortunately that first weekend in July is the nearest to my wife's birthday, you can imagine how the conversation might go....

Of course, you could always line up something extra-special for the weekend before/after.

Amazing news for those attending in July!

Just had word that we'll have an exclusive new track from the incredible, the wonderful, the sublime Boreal Network to play on the night. Our good friend Turquoise70 has sent me a preview and frankly it's just superb

Might have a few other little surprises and messages from one or two other people on Twoism lined up as well. :wink:

So this is a bit weird, in a strange coincidence-type way. I was just watching Mexicola's promo video when I realised... "I know this place!"

I used to go to Tom's Field campsite just down the road in Langton Matravers, when I was bit younger. More recently, every year we go to Worth Matravers and stay in a cottage with the extended family, about a 100 yards away from.... the Square and Compass pub (a cider menu without rival!)

Have been down to the coast several times and in those exact caves. I've never known what those caves were used for - I assume they have something to do with World War II, but told my six year old nephew that they were 'pirate caves'.

Small world.

Woah, mad jealous about this! Unfortuantely, as many have pointed out, the U.S. is just to big to organize a meeting like this. However, this time next year I'll be in Germany, so who knows you might get a visit from me

Unfortunately Mex, I shall residing at the glittering palace of delights that is, ahem, Butlins. The lifestyle changesyou have to make when you have a little one really hit hard. The only time I've been to a Butlins previously was for an ATP. Hi-De-Hi!

It's testament to the incredible Twoism community and generosity of it's members, that we can put something on like this, and it be an annual event. Best place on the net for sure, can't wait to have a beer, make a bonfire and listen to some cassettes
