Okay, now here's an old track that reminds me of BoC. Maybe in a more simple and naive way.

It used to play on the radio around Boston when I was a kid.
Great vibe, great example of 90's indie chilled music.

I wouldn't mind this kind of a thing becoming a new trend.
Simple beats, samples, riffs.

First heard this song when I was about 18 or something (five years or so ago). Brings back memories of both then and of a 90s childhood (despite not having heard this then).

It is a really good song. It was cause of getting into High Places around the time their first album came out I found out about this, I think, through comparisons. I think I found a band called Sukpatch who did quite similar stuff -- 90s indie / lo-fi aesthetic with samplers.
