I called Suarez and dodgy Uruguay tackling. To be fair, both of those were pretty stick-on certainties.
Still, Italy beat Costa Rica and Uruguay, we beat Costa Rica....stranger things have happened....

Really think Italy and Costa Rica will play for the win when they know a draw will send them both through? :?

Messi's goal, embarrassingly good

Feel sorry for Iran though, held so strong for 90 mins.

Iran at least deserved a draw. I feel sad for them :(

Been so many great games! Best WC since 1998 for me. That first American goal last night was phenomenal!

^ agree - so many great games and plenty of goals.

Bizarrely enough I had the "this is the best world cup in ages" conversation the other night with Norman from Teenage Fanclub. Internet magic.

England are who???

Staying up for the 05:00 Netherlands match. Whoever wins that game, I want them to take the cup.

foda-Brasil.... fick Deutschland.

Just an England supporter . Also...

joder Argentina....

If the Dutch don't win, it has to be Costa Rica now.

No offense to anyone, just tired of the same old shit since 1986.

Honestly expected Nederlands to have this one in the bag. They're a little sloppy and Costa Rica's defense is on point today.

Would've rather seen Belgium take the win against Argentina after the pummeling they tried to give Tim Howard..

A win is a win. No matter how you look at it. I had love CR too, but not against the Dutch.

What a game last night!

Costa Rica really sustained their selves in the 120 minutes game. They did everything to not loose the game while Holland did everything to win the game. CR their game was completely focused on reaching the penalty shootout. Holland totally deserved to win so I'm glad CR didn't win the penalties!

Sublime move of van Gaal to swap the keeper :)

What a disgrace. I totally feel with Brazil :(

Whoever will be their opponent in the final, they already are mentally behind.

I can't even imagine how tempestuous a Germany - Holland final would be.
