I don't have a clue about this sort of thing, but is it possible there is some record somewhere of acid memories being sold on ebay for 58 quid or whatever the prince said?
Is there like a record of all ebay transactions available to the right authority?
Someone should make an expedition out of tracking down the lost tapes and finance it with donations from fans!

Dude, like I said.. just because someone supposedly sold an album called "Acid Memories" that was allegedly said to be made by Boards of Canada, DOES NOT automatically mean that it has to be real.Flyingpurplepeopleeater wrote:I don't have a clue about this sort of thing, but is it possible there is some record somewhere of acid memories being sold on ebay for 58 quid or whatever the prince said?

Sheesh! You people act like you've never heard/seen homemade bootlegs and fakes being up for sale on Ebay before.
"Pearl" and "Alien" albums by Portishead anyone?

whether or not the "back catalogue" exists, I don't know. but I'm not going to sit on my thumb waiting for an answer. there's much more music to listen to, things to do... I think the best part of all the controversy is getting to see some artwork. Even if the so called "covers" to acid memories or play by numbers and hooper bay aren't officially boc, I still like the artwork. it at least reminds me of the music. I'm thankful for that in itself.
