Nastiness in the British Establishment
Wading through the sludge of the British establishment.
As some of you know, I’m not a great believer in conspiracy theories, but it is fascinating to see a few things which have been rumoured for years turning out to be fact and that some very, very dark things have happened involving some very senior figures in the British establishment. This is one story where I’m prone to believe some of the more outlandish stories circulating (although, like so many such theories, you don’t have to go too deep down a rabbit hole before seeing someone described as “a prominent Jew”, thereby puncturing their argument).
Not sure what the purpose of this thread really is, I just thought it might make an interesting talking point; especially seeing as many members are not in the UK so might only have picked up an inkling of what is going on. I genuinely believe that this could turn into the biggest political scandal we’ve ever seen in the UK. And that’s even without getting to the alleged links to those even more high up…
For those who don’t know, there is widespread speculation of a paedophile ring within and circling around the British government in the 1970s-1980s. This allegedly involved senior members of the British establishment including government ministers, celebrities, spies and heads of industry all involved in the most horrific sexual abuse of incredibly vulnerable children (who were allegedly “chosen” from care homes – so these were children without families and from difficult and almost certainly poor backgrounds). Rumours involve sexual abuse, rape, torture and even the production of snuff films*.
(congratulations to those who haven’t vomited into their own hands yet).
These rumours have been circulating for years, but the story really hit the headlines again after the whole Jimmy Savile affair came to light. Again, for the benefit of those from outside the UK, imagine a TV personality who rose to fame in the 60s, was a huge star in the 70s and 80s and still a media personality through the 90s ‘til his death – not sure who the equivalent might be in other countries, I’m sure everyone has their own, but her was someone who was a massive star, a personal friend of our Prime Minister (who, it transpires personally covered up the “sexual discretions” – involving children – of one of her own ministers), regularly spending Christmas and New Year with her. This is also someone who was a close friend of members of the royal family. After he died it turns out he was a serial rapist and paedophile, who “interfered with” corpses in the mortuary of a hospital he volunteered in (one of many apparently wonderful charitable acts he did. While it is true he personally raised millions for charity, these charitable acts also just happened to bring him into contact with vulnerable children). So here is someone who is a huge star, a friend of royalty and government; someone you would expect to be vetted by the security service. They WOULD have known; so why wasn’t he reported? At the very least, why wasn’t the heir to the throne discreetly warned to stay away from his new friend? Could it be Savile had even worse dirt on senior members of the British Establishment? Or were the security services complicit? He was certainly being protected by someone very senior. Savile also had the ear of senior people at various police forces.
Just this week, our current government launched an enquiry into claims of this government paedophile ring. They appointed a senior judge to lead this enquiry; she has since stepped down since it emerged her own brother (who had a senior role in government in the 1980s) was named in allegations of procuring young boys and cocaine for “entertainment” at a party conference in 1984. This enquiry was launched after it emerged a dossier was compiled in the 1980s about child abuse among government figures, which was since “lost”.
Just today, the cabinet had a reshuffle. Surprisingly one senior minister has suddenly found himself without a role. A minister who was an aspiring young member of the party in the 1980s and personally – in a different government role – in 1996 shut down an enquiry into institutional child abuse in care homes in Wales. Something tells me this minister might have lost his cabinet post so he can concentrate on preparing alibis and shredding documents…
* - this allegedly took place at a “guest house” in London where parties involving senior establishment figures and underage boys from a nearby care home took place. Some of the names circulated included members of Government, members of the right wing Monday Club, senior MI5 staff, a well known pop star (who may or may not have taken out a super-injunction banning any press links to his name and Elm Guest House. He may also have changed his nationality to be a citizen of Barbados where he lives. And which might not have an extradition treaty with the UK) and an MP from Sinn Fein.**
** - Which brings us back to the security services, who will without a doubt known of Savile’s connections and behaviour. There are also rumours of the security services using young boys from a care home in Northern Ireland to create sex scandals involving people from the Irish Republican movement for blackmail purposes.
So what we’re left with is possibly the biggest cesspit of filth imaginable – celebrity, murder, Royalty, the government, the Prime Minister, child sex abuse, rape, blackmail, terrorism, police corruption. All stirring around in one stinking pot. How much is true? What will come out?
I tried not to mention too many names for obvious reasons, but you don’t have to look too far…

I'll read this properly later as I'm at work now, but if you're implying there was a significant reason why Jimmy Saville was covered up for donkey's years - ie. 'he had dirt on senior establishment figures' then all I'll say is, for once, the conspiracy theory seems the most plausible explanation. I don't get the feeling this is finished yet. Not by a long way.

I'd go as far to suggest he was perhaps "facilitating" certain activities. If it was just a case of knowing too much, i'm sure an "accident" could have been arranged.Mexicola wrote:I'll read this properly later as I'm at work now, but if you're implying there was a significant reason why Jimmy Saville was covered up for donkey's years - ie. Hadn't thought about this being linked to the reshuffle today. That's an interesting angle.
As an aside, my wife still tells the story now about when he and her Dad were on holiday near Scarborough. They're driving around in the countryside when they spot Jimmy Saville out running. Not having an earthly about the rumours, they pull over and Mrs Mexi's Dad invites him over to say hello, which he did, talking to them both through the car window before carrying on his way. As my wife was only around 8 or 9 at the time, you can imagine the shudder that went through us all when the scandal broke....

All this breaking, and the Government have just passed an "emergency" law in order to keep us all under surveillance. Well, its clear those with the authority are the ones in need of monitoring. These people think they are beyond culpability.
Absolute scum.
Absolute scum.

The most depressing thing about these allegations is how easy they are to believe. There is no way that Savile could have got away with so much and for so long without being protected, or by being part of a much wider group of criminals.
Like A Northern Soul, I approach conspiracy theories with extreme caution, but I'm sure that I'm not alone in that it wouldn't surprise me too much if the alleged chain of abuse led right to the top of the establishment.
The second most depressing thing about it all is that we will probably never know the truth.

I don't think we'll ever find out the full truth, but expect a few sacrificial lambs...

I remember 'Sir' Rhodes Boyston. Now, I know you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover, but if I was going to pick out one of Maggie's little stormtroopers-of-poo to be a nonce, I have to admit, he'd have been somewhere near the top of the list...A_Northern_Soul wrote:Here it comes - like a tidal wave of sludge...

pffffffh. I've said it before and I will say it over and over again - marking an "X" against "Yes" in September will be a proud, proud moment in my life.
No matter how much or how little we go on to achieve, for one happy moment half or more of my fellow Scots will raise a giant middle finger to the filth that is the British establishment. And that has to be worth something.

I wish you well, even if it means Labour would never get voted in down here ever again. I reckon you'll do just fine.Techboy wrote:pffffffh. I've said it before and I will say it over and over again - marking an "X" against "Yes" in September will be a proud, proud moment in my life.

Not to derail the thread, but:Mexicola wrote:I wish you well, even if it means Labour would never get voted in down here ever again. I reckon you'll do just fine.

If you read that you'll probably understand not only why that isn't a true statement, but also why Scottish people actually need independence.
There's this too ;D

^-- but regardless I think there is the issue, bringing me back to the thread, that both of the major parties will be insinuated in this unfolding scandal. the two parties have never looked more similar, and "the establishment" is well and truly one with new labour.
That's an interesting article, cheers for sharing. Not convinced I agree entirely with it's conclusions, but it certainly gives food for thought.Techboy wrote:Not to derail the thread, but:Mexicola wrote:I wish you well, even if it means Labour would never get voted in down here ever again. Any idea what the immigration policy of a newly-independent Scotland would be towards the English? I'm deadly serious when I say I'd give consideration to emigrating. Doubt I'd convince Mrs-Mexi initially, but if the little-Englanders want 'BNP lite', frankly they can keep it. I'd walk to Scotland and I doubt I'm alone.
Would be interesting to see the demographic shift if independence is secured.
Hey! Don't renege on me pal - you offered me that airbed! You're getting marked down as my 'sponsor'Techboy wrote:I believe the current government's plan is to have what amounts to an open door immigration policy to deal with our "ageing population" issues but don't quote me on your visa form haha. :p
Looks like thatcher was made aware of what was going on in her party, and this country gave her a state funeral. Makes me fucking sick.

My Dad's response to me telling him about Thatcher's death was that it was just a shame she never stood trial for everything she did.
Looks like this will apply to a few former members of her cabinet too.
WHo is the "serving minister" though?
(Rogue capital at the start of that sentence might not have been an accident

There is also an issue in the Netherlands where a senior political figure is being protected by others after two Turkish boys said they were raped by him. One person who is said to be protecting him is a current MP and recently showed up with a black eye at a press conference, saying it was due to "an infection".

Also, a former minister of health of the Netherlands was recently murdered in her home, and authorities refuse to give any details about it other than that she was murdered. Radio silence for months now around that topic.

^ that is pretty fucked up.
Latter part reminds me of this thing that I just read:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Willie_MacRae
tl;dr he was working on research about NATO activities in scotland, and plans to dump nuclear waste into the north sea. showed up in the wilderness with a bullet in his brain, his office ransacked and his documents destroyed.
police remove the car before finding the weapon, "forget" to take a note of the exact coordinates it was found, report some point 1 mile off, evidence doesn't add up, etc etc.
