same. coming home to Glasgow was almost disappointing- i want my lovely river walk and a vibrant pub scene! then again, I am at least close to the amazing "highlands and islands" :)

tbh i don't think they go out of their way to hide in their own lives, they just get on with it.
perhaps in the area they live they just don't meet anyone that would recognise them.

the countryside can be so wide apart, some neighbours know of daft punk but never heard of boc and/or know what they look like so these things go amiss. its not like they live in the city, then there would most likely be 'sightings'. east lothian may look small on google maps buts its big, its nice, reminds me of west of ireland sometimes, near the sea, similar climate etc

Don't think I've ever "confessed" this, if that's the right word, but Mrs_A_Northern_Soul grew up in the same area as the Sandisons. She'll be a bit younger, but her brother is pretty much the same age, so chances are their paths will have crossed. But, like Techboy said, it really isn't important.
