So, I've wondered this before with other electronic albums that do this, but when it says (some name mix), does that mean it's a track of his remixed by another artist? Or is it just the name of that particular mix?

It can be both.
I think in this case it means very little. Maybe he wants to imply he has multiple versions of songs, but knowing Richard, its probably a red herring. But there is also "Dancing by the moonlight (Dj Koze mix)" (not a real song), which is obviously a remix done by a dj named Koze.
Been actively reading WATMM first time since the AAA, really cool to see their reaction as if Jesus is returning. I really hope the album will be as awesome as they believe it'll be and musical evolution will make a step again. On the other hand, it would still be really funny if it was just richard jamming on some fart soundboards (or really really minimalistic). He could pull it off, make his money back for the blimp, while marking the official death of electronic music.
Also, why is this thread only 2 pages long? Shame on you twoism!
Funny how everyone is expecting something revolutionary from him. I feel those days have gone. Nobody is able to cause that shock of the new a second time. Not BoC, not MBV and not Aphex.
I hope he doesn't go for something so out there and unlistenable, for the sake of progress and innovation. For all Aphex's cleverness it's his uncanny ear for melody that makes his best tracks so memorable. When I listened to the Caustic Window album I was struck by how unique his sounds and tunes still are.
Personally, I'll be delighted if the new album has some more of those unmistakably Aphex melodies. That's all I ask for really. If he can wrap those around some innovation then all the better.

I was also wondering that. Why the lack of interest in Aphex Twin here? Same happened when Caustic Window got released. Almost no response on Twoism. Are Twoismers afraid of Aphex Twin?
"Records have been working on for the past few years, and his experience hardcore and lush abinata textures found his style, and his facial features on the cover of the first issue, the various incarnations of present Omnipresent, which is marked by an icing in the world of music was culled Aphex Gemini (equal recognition with logo)."
