That would be sweet if you could mix it.

Curious how everything will sound together.. I'm partially happy with what I've put up so far.. but not really happy with the mix as it currenlty stands (on its own).

Need some short little interlude pieces too :)

a mix... sweet! maybe we could do like a double cd. mixed and unmixed!? robin, i think mp3 is quite okay if we encode it to 320kpbs. losless is good, but i think too big, cuz some don't have fast connections. and we all want this comp to spread widely. atleast i think so.

Daniel. I like the 2CD option but I don't even know if steve-o wants me to mix it or just sequence it like he said in his initial post, everything is up to him.

About the lossless, I'll do whatever you guys think is ok as it are your tunes.
About the size.. people who dl it can always choose to get lossless or mp3 ;)

btw steve: I have the possibility to host this all as I still have unlimited webspace/traffic, dunno for how long though.

i can help with hosting as well. as long as it doesnt contain anything that violates copyright.
i have unlimited space at scene.org but it has to be original work.

btw, im afraid i cant provide a lossless version of the track due to a computer crash. all i have is a 'clean' version of the track without going through the old hi-fi filtering and i dont have the equipment at the moment to re-record it.
and it would loose the BOC feel sounding clean.

well everyone it is just about the middle of September so if we're going to stick to our timeline start getting those tracks in. I'm very impressed of how supportive you guys all are of each other. Nice to see no egos and rare too. Again Twoism proves that is one step above! Righteous. Let me know what's up you tardy peeps.

Frack.. I really want to re-record that first one.. meh!

And numero two is coming along, just trying to embellish it a bit (though it's growing on me as it currently is!).

Thanks Jon. Would it be better for everyone to give it until the end of September? Still waiting on a few highly anticipated tracks.....Hills, Ciaran? Anyone been thinking of cover art??

who's going to do the masters? there'll probably be a variance in levels considering everone's different production style. dustbeam could be my entry, what do you reckon, steve?

I could do it here. I could easily adjust levels, but it wouldn't be a proper mastering job per se. You know how I feel about Dustbeam, one of my favorites.

YELLOW, I do kind of like that. In a sense Twoism is the "Children born of the music". Man that sounded corney, but you know what I mean? So the children on the cover is appropriate i'd say. Thoughts??

Is there anyone who really wants to take over art duties?? I have a project that i'm working on that actually has a deadline and I need to concentrate on that for a bit to get it done. SO anyone who'd like to help post here.

Converting all entries to the same volume level is no problem at all but mastering each track from different contributors can't be done imo. How does one know what the intention of the contributors song is...? I guess when someone contributed a song the sound is already what they want it to be or else they woudn't contribute it, right?

If there is going to be a mixed version (I still don't know what steve-o want) then it's something else.. adjusting volume >> mixing >> mastering each track to the same levels (if necessary).

Yeah i'm not sure we need to master the tracks. Aesthetics is right, i'm sure it sounds the way that the artist intended it to sound. So I think adjusting levels will be fine, no? From what i've heard so far it might not be that hard to make a mix after all, I think my track may mess it up a bit though.

NNY some of those photos are nice, but I didn' see anything that really struck me. I kind of like the kids, we can call it "One on Twoism: Children have the right to music", I don't know, i'm tired.

well it's a Twoism compilation, so I'm sure the cover art can be taken care of from a "local".

Nic pic Yellow, I've been on a "invert colors on pictures" kick lately as well.
