Random Tracks Tape Title Collection
One thing I thought about the other day
why not made one thread (thats maybe even pinned somewhere) to "speculate" what song from this tape might be which
I know there are multiple topics on this but that is my problem
that kind of information is all over the place and then we could put a direct place where it is supposed to be

We think that Audiotrack 6A is most likely 5d from Closes Vol. 1, as the official BoC YouTube channel has a video for this track as 5d in its main playlist.
Saw a blind man walking down the street
Greets every person he chanced to meet
Saw a cop write a ticket to a man over fifty
Fell over laughing screaming he was a hippie
Ran into a granny had a smile on her face
Broke a trophy she just won in a race
Don't worry about the future
Forget about the past
Whether it's good or bad
It's a gas

I've made a littel research on this topic.
My assumptions:
1) Most of the tracks are from the first 5 albums.
2) The man who collected the tracks cut off maximum 30 secs of each track.
I've checked all the old, unavaible tracks' lengths. Here are the results, showing the differences.
A01 (6s) Focus on the spiral (29s) Godever
She is P
A03 (30s) Stowed Under
A04 (0s) Close1 (8s) Remmy Kid (12s) Treeline (14s) Close2
Finity
A06 (11s) Press (18s) Geiser (23s) 5d (25s) True Map
A07 (17s) Stowed Under
A08 (6s) Drone18 (8s) Echo the Sun (21s) Helter Skelter (24s) Eye/ear
A09 (1s) Godever
A10 (20s) Trillions
Blueberry
A12 (20s) Trillions
A13 (10s) Powerline
A14 (5s) Godever
I'll Get It Tattooed
B01 (22s) Godever
B02 (24s) Stowed Under
House of Abin'adab
B04 (11s) Numerator
B05 (30s) Powerline
B06 (3s) Close3 (7s) Helios Sound (7s) Ithcus Sound (11s) Close4 (27s) Close1
B07 ? No matches found.
B08 (1s) Remmy Kid (5s) Treeline (7s) Close2
B09 (7s) Trillions
Smallest Weird Number (Reversed)
B11 ? No matches found.
B12 ? No matches found.
Davie Addison
B14 (4s) Trillions
B15 (18s) Powerline
B16 (1s) Powerline
It's Too Orangey
B18 (20s) Powerline
B19 (5s) Focus on the Spiral
B20 (3s) Helios Sound (3s) Ithcus Sound (7s) Close4 (23s) Close1
Notes:
1) A04 might be Close1, because of the length totally matches.
2) A06 might be 5d, because of the famous Youtube video.
3) A14 might be Godever, because of the file's history.
4) B04 might be Numerator, because of a weird Youtube cover, which might be a fake.

someone back in the day made the suggestion that one of the songs boc had played live, sounded like it was saying 'NOATAK" in the background. which was the name of a track from hooper bay
ive always assumed that they might be right. regardless of where its from, that live track is among some of boc's best work

Yeah I've seen that too. It's one of my favorite songs of all time, I wish they would release a studio version of itFireal420 wrote:someone back in the day made the suggestion that one of the songs boc had played live, sounded like it was saying 'NOATAK" in the background. which was the name of a track from hooper bay

The Aphex fanbase is getting their live tracks - why can't we?

No, I mean this one:twodogsdead wrote:Do you mean this cover?Berselius wrote:4) B04 might be Numerator, because of a weird Youtube cover, which might be a fake.
It sounds a lot like "David Came To Mahana'im", though perhaps that song was based off Numerator. Look at 5D/Audiotrack 6A and Seven Forty Seven.
Might be a fake, but it's not so bad I think
