yeah when someone recomended this to me they said "oh its sooo weird i think its right up your alley"
well lets just say i have heard ALOT weirder, but fanatastic it is indeed. thanks exit
It took me some time to get into that record of AE!!! It's getting better every time i give it a listen.
I think it will be strange day when I 'get' that album.
What chu talkin bout? Untilted is much more accesible (and better) than some of their other releases like Confield and Draft 7.30. I still have yet to "get" most of the tracks on those albums. Untilted is really good though, probably their best since Lp5.

In my own experience, Tri Repectae (sp?) is the best introduction to Autechre. It's got a good mix of melody and experimental stuff mixed together. Give it a shot.

N.P. Iera
Hey Derail, why do you sound so upset? You haven't got all the tracks from "Confield and Draft 7.30" yet?! In my opinion both albums are as good as "Untilted". Autechre evolve with every album.

Sorry but NO! Each album is so different from the one before. You should start with the first one and than move one to the next and so on... Enjoy, it's worth it!

Sorry but your so wrong! Start with the first album, after each album you see what a great talent they really are!
