Listened to it for the first time, love it based on the first listen. Aisatsana is stunning. Haven't really gotten into RDJ apart from the SAW + Polygon Window albums, because most of it is just to heavy for me. This album is a lot easier to digest, and I love it.

I don't really know all of his aliases, so if there are more albums out there by RDJ, that are easier to digest, I'd be happy to take some recommendations.

Bang on, exactly the same for me. I can appreciate his other work but somehow not the sort of music i'd think to whack on and listen to just because it's too full on. Syro is immense, i can't stop listening to it at the moment.

rolypablo was having a laugh with the Tuss and Analord recommendations, those are heavy

I would listen to Come to Daddy and Windowlicker Eps and just try to say open to the onslaught on some of the Come To Daddy mixes because they're AWESOME. Windowlicker is easy to digest because it has a short duration and in my opinion the cumulative affect of the three tracks is beautiful–they're all distinct from each other

Also, The Richard D. James album played at 33 rotations per minute opens up a sound that is altogether new to how he released it and no doubt easier to digest

I started listening to it more and more. I did other things to it too but I won't tell you about those things because reasons I can't tell you because I can't tell you.

The only track I eliminated from the playlist was XMAS_EVET10. It's not that I hate it but in my sick and miserable mind it's too close in style to minipops 67, while the rest of tracks have at least a palpable difference between them. I don't know.

On the other hand, I started to listen to it in shuffle with Exai and Tomorrow's Harvest. It offers a playful contrast to Ae's seriousness and BoC's melodrama. Hell, BoC sounds like a hippie band compared to AT and Ae.

After this aphex release I love Boc even more, basically for their amazing distillate and incredibly timed sound, they sounds very universa.l But yeah never was huge fan of aphex "fast paced always changing music" he was never my cup of tea tbh, but yes very funny music to listen to, favorites Xmas evet, earthportal mix, papat4

both the vinyl and the CD were in one box. so i dont know which it was meant to be with.
also not pictured is a card that was in the vinyl. i figured it was for mp3 DL, but ive been told that either the plastic card or the business card will 'supposedly" grant access to bonus material in the near future.

HA HA HA thats what i used to think when i first heard BoC. i gave them a few tries and thought "this shit is weak" i was all Ae at the time.

then Pete Standing Alone jumped out at me one night...and i HEARD it.

they are totally diff styles, Ae, AFX, BoC that fill a big picture. very cool

Yeah its in the sound more than the composition (altho those chords near the start...), but I suppose more like an alternate path BOC could have explored after say MHTRTC
