If it gets really shady I still have the option to opt out. Might have a year or so of social goodness before it eventually exits. Might just fall flat and end up with 3 followers and no messages.

I'm currently flicking about trying to find an alternative to Facebook, mainly to run the Twoist Dorset meet from after next summer. How are you guys finding Ello so far? Worth hooking up??

Mex, I don't really think ello is suitable for that kind of stuff. It doesn't have a chat function and you can't group anything. It's kind of like a stripped down version of fb and old myspace where you can only post text, images and urls.

Yeah, I took a look at that earlier. Looked a little techy at first glance, but am I doing it a disservice? You've seen how I use the current FB page Ae, do you think it would give me what I need?
