Voices in Corsair?
I heard Corsair had voices, very faded. I decided to check it out myself, so I listened to it over and over again(not saying I dont anyways
) and sure enough I heard something. Like white noise counting or something. I asked my little brother if he heard any voices in case I just heard my imagination counting, and my brother never heard about Corsairs rumors and he said he heard voices before. I know Corsair is freaking creepy to begin with, but a hidden voice does NOT make things better. I decided I should ask some more BoC smart fans for any info on voices and what Corsair is actually about?

Re: Voices in Corsair?
i've always thought there were backwards (or forwards), slowed down voices in this song but I have never checked. I figured someone else would have by now though.bocpony wrote:I heard Corsair had voices, very faded. to quote the mighty bocpages page on corsair page itself (yes that page):i-the-wayside wrote:not heard about this before. at what points can you hear the voices?
bocpages. not you. wrote:[DC] here's a faint counting voice in places, but says that it could be the mind playing tricks.
i said not you!!! ugh wrote:A pirate, especially a privateer of the Barbary coast - [DC], who, after the first few listens, believes he could hear a voice; a child's voice counting as in Gyroscope (most strongly at 2'11, as follows: 2'11 "one", 2'13 "two", 2'15 "three, 2'17 "four" ...), almost as a sort of faint "echo" of sunshine recorder the start of the album. (Since writing that, another correspondent has expressed agreement that there is a voice here: that it sounds like a voice vocodered with a white noise source - which would produce just such a kind of "speaking static" - and then filtered).
