Damn that sucks. I was skeptical about Redeye, thought it was strange that it would include the cd. Therefore went with Skam. Ordered both vinyl and cd, and I just got the download link today. It was about $30 total (shipping to Norway). I actually already have the '99 repress and the '03 version of cd, but who could resist picking up these as well?Moloch wrote:Just received my vinyl from Redeye. Given that I won't be able to hear the actual vinyl before I get back to France in 2 months, this is pretty MEH.
Hi-Scores (2014 remastered)

Just received this from Redeye:irv wrote:^ Same, this is bullshit unless there's another delivery coming.
I don't even have a record player and planned to sell on or give away the vinyl - only wanted the CD and the poster...
Edit: I've emailed them, I'll post any response I get.
EditAs they were sealed we assumed they were as they had said, I will check with the distributor and let you know.
Cheers
Poster is there (I missed it) but not really the point...They say that it does not come with a CD but should have an
insert/poster in there?
They've changed the page on their site now to remove the reference to the CD and poster (still says it in URL though): http://www.redeyerecords.co.uk/vinyl/55 ... nd-poster-
Sounds like it's not technically their fault and a mistake/lie by the distributor, but it still sucks.Cool, just return it and I will swap it over for you. If you just put it in the 2nd class post, not recorded we will refund your post paid too. Sorry about the hassle.
Cheers
Might see if they can just send me the CD so I can keep the poster.

For better or worse, the vinyl reissue fiasco has made me a captive consumer, I can't see ever purchasing Warp vinyl from anywhere else again.re-phaelam-ed wrote:why would it include a CD. bleep doesnt sell that way.ZosoCon wrote:Damn that sucks. I wasn't to know it woudn't work that way - the page said it came with a CD and poster and as far as I knew Redeye was a reputable retailer that had been around for years.re-phaelam-ed wrote:why would it include a CD. bleep doesnt sell that way.ZosoCon wrote:Damn that sucks. Redeye wanted me to return it all (wouldn't let me keep the poster) and said they'd refund me the postage and send out the CD - no mention of whether I'd be reimbursed the difference since I'd spent £13.44 on this and can get CD+MP3 for £8.29 delivered from Bleep. Load of hassle.
Pretty shit customer service considering it was their cock-up, or their distributors, whatever. Going to just keep it for now and have ordered CD off Bleep.

well that's cause most haven't been able to listen yet...
the vinyl and cd arrived for me today. I'm on the east coast of North America.
the vinyl feels really good relative to the recent WARP represses... real heavy and smooth.
I ordered the vinyl and cd from Bleep and they turned up on Saturday. I've already got the original so I wasn't sure about getting the remaster. I haven't done a direct comparison with the original, but the remaster sounds excellent on vinyl, so I'm glad I got it now. Haven't played the cd yet.Dmitrii wrote:it seems that nobody here really cares about the remaster itself
