Bought this and been listening to it constantly for the past few weeks. I think it is SotL good, could well end up as one of my favourite albums.

Glad you're enjoying it. Since I was kid I've only cried maybe three times (even when I want to, most of the time I simply can't make it happen

) Two of those occasions were from listening to this record.

Also beautiful...

I think this Root Strata label may be one of my favourites.. so much good noise on offer, awesome blog too! Seems most of it comes out of America, wish England had a similar noise scene.

Both of these pieces kind of remind me of Tim Hecker in a way, also remind me of this project infinite Body, released a really cool record in 2010.

goddamn man, at first I was gonna say it sounded like something David Lynch would use but then it got heavier, more abrasive and unnerving. This is an incredible piece, not punishing, but has brilliant atmosphere. That bass thump is ... almost scary in a way. Like being stabbed or something.

Nadja - Radiance of Shadows

I recently dug this album out the collection again the other day. I read Julian Cope's review on his Head Heratige website (Unsung: Albums of the month section http://www.headheritage.co.uk/unsung/al ... of-shadows ) a few years back and bought without even listening to it first. I wasn't disappointed. Absolutely immense/noisey/beautiful stuff.

whitehouse is a must in noise/power electronics.
i recommend "guru" and "why you never became a dancer" for starters. i would link those but it's 9:00 at night and i don't feel like getting my ears blown out.
