In my own experience, Tri Repectae (sp?) is the best introduction to Autechre. It's got a good mix of melody and experimental stuff mixed together. Give it a shot.

I've been on a complete and total Phonem binge today listening to "Hydro Electric" and "Ilisu" albums on the Morr Music label. He has some really great stuff here, fans of Autechre and Arovane need to check this cat out pronto!

I can hardly believe this came out in 1978... It's quite awesome, and only sounds a little dated. But really that just adds to the charm of a Kraftwerk album.

For my part, I don't think that Tri is a bad place to start. "Clipper" was the first AE track that blew me away...

im not always one to like covers all that much...they have their moments...this one almost have a remiz feel to it
