Re the sample that has this child-like 'wizard'/magician sort of voice sing-songing "1,2,3,4,5/6,7,8,9, 10..."
where is that sample from??? So Damn FAMILIAR. It's driving me nuts.

I've always thought I know this from somewhere, like an old memory ingrained just like the old sesame street samples they had used.

This could also be the counting in Gyroscope, since it goes up to 12. Gyroscope might refer to the motion of the hands of a clock, with the panning and all.

The counting on Gyroscope is taken from a genuine Numbers Station.

There's something called 'The Conet Project' which is basically a 4 disc compilation of Number Station broadcasts.

The same voice from Gyroscope can be found on Disc 3 called '5 Dashes I Say Again'.

I remember I was pretty convinced it was used on a is to b with one post here AGES ago where someone found some speech synthesis device that was related to sesame street I believe (not sure). Can't seem to find the darn thread. Thats what we get for not contributing enough to the boc pages.

It's interesting that you think it's a wizard/magician because it reminds me of 'Rentaghost' for some reason.
